Young Thug and Gunna arrested by the FBI

While he had just announced his return by unveiling the cover of his next album and was ready to help Africans stranded in Ukraine, legal worries catch up with Young Thug.

Local Atlanta news reporter WSBTV reported that Thugger, Gunna and 26 other YSL members have been charged with attempting to violate the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. According to Michael Seiden, “the warrant includes charges of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), murder, armed robbery and participation in criminal street gang activity.”

Prosecutors accuse YSL of being a “criminal street gang that began in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue neighborhood of Atlanta that claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang”.

Two of Young Thug’s associates reportedly even asked permission to kill FN Lucci while serving a prison sentence for murder. In January, Lucci claimed he was stabbed while in jail awaiting trial for murder. Thug would also be accused of having rented a car that was used in a murder in 2015.

The arrest

Special police units moved in, surrounded and then handcuffed the star and 10 of his associates on a street in the Buckhead neighborhood at Young Thug’s home. And despite all the hype, Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, still proclaims the innocence of the rapper… Not easy.

Mr. Williams has committed no crime and we will fight to the last drop of blood to clear him…

Case to follow.
