Oaxaca de Juarez.- The beach of Zipoliteon the Oaxacan coasthas managed to break prejudices and taboos about the human body thanks to the nudist festival that it celebrates every year (with the exception of pandemic years) and that in this 2023 reaches its eighth edition.
Thanks to a group of service providers and individuals that converge in the Bi Shieeeladi Festivals and Culture Civil Association, this beach located in San Pedro Pochutla, 243 kilometers from the capital of Oaxaca, has become an international benchmark for people who practice nudism.
With the support of the state and municipal governments, this meeting stands out as a promoter of “acceptance of the human body, tolerance and respect for oneself and others”, which takes place on the only public nudist beach in Mexico.
This year the vast program runs from February 2 to 5 with activities for all tastes and interests, from sports such as volleyball, walks, soccer and zumba, to meditation with yoga, tai chi and pilates.
There will be no shortage of concerts dance classesexhibitions of kites Y body paint, as well as gastronomic activities that include the inevitable mezcal tastings and why not, “naked sushi”.
