Lambada, soca dance or asereje… A long time ago, every summer had its hit, which was bludgeoned on TV and radio. For several years, there is no longer one but several singles that have been successful in the summer. With the possible exception of the year 2019 with “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, which was a global tidal wave.

For this summer of 2021, you will have the choice between several summer hits at your vacation spot.

For Latin music fans

What would a summer be without Latin music? The hits of the summer often came from Spain, Colombia or Brazil. Shakira and the Black Eyed Peas offer “Girl like me”, a track that oozes reggaeton.

Another old track remixed in 2021: “Rasputin” by Boney M released in 1979. It inspired the London DJ Majestic who offers an electro version that respects the original version.

The chorus of “Ani Kuni” will inevitably remind you of your childhood. This Native American lullaby inspired Polo & Pan, the French duo founded by DJs Paul-Armand Delille and Alexandre Grynszpan.

“Kalinka” is a song from Russian folklore. It has been brought up to date by Soso Maness and PLK, the interpreters of “Organized Band”. The track became “Petrushka”.

For Euro football fans

Clubbed in the stadiums of the Euro football, “We are the people” is the anthem of the competition. It was composed by Dutch DJ Martin Garric, U2 singer Bono and his band The Edge.

It’s the soundtrack to your jogging this summer. “Never going home” by French DJ Kungs even gets the grandpas and grandmas moving in the video clip!

For fans of French song

Christophe Maé is back with a title that smells like summer. “Y’a du soleil” is a song “to celebrate our reunion with the life before, the theater, the terraces, the concerts, the life what”, wrote the singer on his Instagram account.

This summer, we must also count on Clara Luciani and her new single “Le reste”, the first extract from the new album by the singer with two Victoires de la Musique.

For pop funk fans

Here is an unleashed piece of love breakup which has nothing to do with slow! “Good for u” by American Olivia Rodrigo, between pop and funk, will get you pumped on the dance floor.
