Travis Scott returned to the stage for the first time since the Astroworld Festival tragedy in November 2021, which left several fans dead after an outpouring of crowds.

Tyga – who previously dated the 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder between 2014 and 2017 – was spotted in the VIP section with her friends, listening to Scott’s performance.

“He got up to listen to Travis, then sat down,” the insider adds. The reveler explained that Tyga seemed eager to see Scott return to the stage, noting, “[Tyga] could [have] left and went to another room but he chose to stay in the main room to watch his performance.

The “Aye” rapper, 32, was linked to the beauty mogul for almost two years, but remained on good terms after they left in April 2017. Tyga eventually moved on with his girlfriend. Camaryn Swanson while the reality TV star started seeing Scott.

“We’re not friends,” Jenner said of Tyga during the keeping up with the Kardashians reunion in June 2021. “But we are fine. If I see him go out or meet him somewhere, I always wish him good luck. I have no bad feelings towards him.

The Texas native’s Saturday performance marked the first time he had taken the stage since the Astroworld tragedy. Ten fans died – and others were injured – in a “high casualty incident” following a wave of crowds at his sold-out music festival in Houston.

“I just want to send prayers to those who were lost last night,” the “Highest in the Room” singer – who also shares daughter Stormi, 4, with Jenner – tearfully explained in a series of Instagram Story videos in November 2021 “You know, my fans, like, really mean the world to me and I always really want to leave them a positive experience and whenever I can relate to, you know, whatever’s going on, I I’d just stop the show and, you know, help them get the help they need. I just couldn’t imagine the gravity of the situation.

He continued at the time, “Everyone, keep your prayers up. I mean, I’m honestly just devastated and I could never imagine something like this happening.

Following the accident, authorities launched an investigation into its cause. During this time, Scott lost several business deals and performance opportunities. Later, he offered to cover funeral expenses and additional help for the victims.
