Tranquil Meadow Disney Dreamlight Valley: Garnet, Green Rising Penstemon… Everything about this biome!

Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it’s exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on the Tranquil Prairie biome.

Tranquil Meadow: Unlock the swamp biome

After exploring the Esplanade, unlocking the Tranquil Meadow is a logical next step, especially if you progress through Merlin’s quests. You will find three passes to get there: one in the middle going down the stairs, one on the right and one on the left. Note that access to this biome is free but you will need 1000 coins to unlock the teleport well and 500 coins to upgrade Goofy’s Stand the first time, then 1000 coins the second time.

Goofy Stand, Ponds, Mushrooms and Other Features

La Prairie Tranquille is a huge expanse of grass where you will find some interesting buildings and other places:

• The goofy house : you will have to ask him for the quest for the fishing rod and to repair his stand,
• the goofy booth : this is your first stand where you can buy and sell ingredients and other seeds,
• The Merlin’s house : it’s the observatory on the far right of La Prairie,
• The Garden of Wall-E: in a state of ruins for the moment, you will have to unlock the kingdom of the robot,
• ponds : to catch your first fish,
• The pillar : which you will unlock with the main Merlin quest.

Note that like at the Esplanade, some tree stumps and other mushrooms can be difficult on your way: you must improve your Tools to eliminate them.

Tranquil Meadow: All biome resources

Ingredients, Flowers, Materials, Gems, and Goofy’s Stand

In the Grassland, you can easily find the following gems, materials, and ingredients by clearing night thorns, picking up fruit from trees, mining, or purchasing them from the Goofy Stand.

The fish

As with any biome in the game, some fish and seafood are only found in the Meadow.

• Difficulty : easy to tame

The rabbit is playful and much less docile than the squirrel but it is still easy to tame it. He will escape several times when you run after him, but don’t lose hope: after a few seconds, he will stop and will gladly receive food.

Tranquil Meadow: Characters and Quests

By going to this biome, you instantly unlock the Goofy character and the quests that go with it, such as the one allowing you to repair the fishing rod or the one asking you to repair the Stand, allowing you to re-open the Scrooge Shop. Even if Merlin has already been unlocked since the start of the game, that’s where he lives: don’t forget to go to his house to complete certain quests such as Scrooge’s safe for example.
