Torta del Casar Week: tastings, routes and concerts

There is no place in Spain or possibly in Europe that moves so many activities around cheese. The Casar Cake Week reaches its 28th edition of the October 7 to 13 and has prepared a program literally non-stop, from the official opening at 11:30 this Friday. There will be free buses from Cáceres to Casar de Caceres with departures in front of the Hotel Extremadura (on the 7th and 8th at 12:00, 13:00 and 19:00, returning at 17:00, 18:30 and 23:00; and on the 9th at 12:00 and 13:00, returning at 18:00). Cheese Fair and Market

The ‘6th European Cheese Fair’ offers the opportunity to taste and buy the best cheeses from Spain (Euskadi, Navarra, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Castilla y León and Extremadura) and Portugal (Regio Centro and Alentejo), accompanied by tasty drinks of wines and beersall this in the Plaza de Sancho IV de Casar from 7 to 9 October, in collaboration with the association European Cheese Route.
