The Terrassa Maleducats Festival launches the urban music contest Radar

The Maleducats Festivalthe international urban music festival of Catalonia, to be held on July 15 and 16 in Terrassa (Vallès Occidental), launches Radara contest for Catalan emerging groups of legal age and without a record contract.

Since last Monday, May 9, and until the 23rd of this month, artists and urban music ensembles from Catalonia can register through a free form found on the contest’s Instagram profile. The prize will consist of a performance at the Maleducats 2023 and a artistic accompaniment program by the Cases de la Músicvalued at 4,000 euros.

A jury made up of a member of the Maleducats Festival, a member of the Cases de la Música and a professional from the music sector, will choose 20 candidates that will be published on the Maleducats Festival Instagram on May 30 so that the public can vote on them. until June 13.


On June 19, the ten finalist proposals will be made public, three chosen by the jury and seven by popular vote, which will offer a showcase of fifteen minutes on Thursday, July 14 at the Rasa64 Room from Terrassa. Right there, the jury will choose the winning proposal.

The Maleducats Festival is a festival led by Lildami born with the intention of programming the best international urban music in Catalonia.
