the celebration of Inclusion as part of our commitments held throughout the year – DisneylandParis News

Pride Month is an opportunity to acknowledge, celebrate and value the diverse stories and perspectives of the LGBTQIA+ community. At Disneyland Paris, this is an important moment in our initiatives to put equity and inclusion at the heart of our actions, creating a welcoming environment for visitors from all over the world and encouraging our Cast Members to be authentic.

This year, with the return of the evening Disneyland Paris Pride at Walt Disney Studios Park, Guests and Cast Members came together for an unforgettable night with live performances from MIKA, Bilal Hassani and Becky Hill, the return of The Thousand Colors Pride Parade, and memorable moments with Disney Characters and access to a selection of attractions. For even more entertainment, the event also offered experiential animations set up by our partners RhinoShield, Coca-Cola and Deezer. As part of its commitment, Disneyland Paris has invited members of several French LGBTQIA+ associations to enjoy a day in the parks. They also participated in the Thousand Colors Pride Parade.

Disneyland Paris Pride: The Cast Event was also back this year, inviting Cast Members to attend an exclusive day of inspirational talks where Disney teams from across the destination and around the world shared their experiences and vision for the future. The event ended in style with a show reserved for Cast Members celebrating diversity at Disneyland Paris. This is just one of the many initiatives we take throughout the year to educate our Cast Members about inclusion. Our Disney PRIDE BERG – the working group made up of Cast Members from different divisions of the destination – identifies new opportunities throughout the year to promote and support the LGBTQIA+ community.

As part of an ongoing dialogue with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies, Disneyland Paris invited Cast Members from across the destination to share their unique stories and experiences. The resulting video highlights some of the many stories of our Cast Members and is one of many initiatives to nurture new voices. The diversity of our employees allows us to create a culture of inclusion, thanks to their ideas and actions which help us to develop. Watch the video below and go to the Disneyland Paris YouTube channel for more LGBTQIA+ content this month and throughout the year.

The Walt Disney Company will donate all proceeds from Disney Pride Collection sales through June 30, 2022 to support LGBTQIA+ youth and families. To find out more, visit TWDCPrideCollection.com. The destination also unveiled a new Pride theme for Magic Shot by PhotoPass™.[1]now available throughout June in the face of Plaza Gardens Restaurant at Disneyland Park, as well as new patterns offered at the Customization Corner of the Disney Fashion boutique at Disney Village.
