This week, she finally released the clip for the latest hit from her 3rd studio album, PlanetHer, opus nominated in the category Album of the year Grammy Awards which will take place in Los Angeles on January 31, 2022. This clip is Womanled by photographer and director Child (who has already worked with Janelle Monáe, Big Sean, Nas or HER…). Very graphic and very well staged, the latter opens with a shot showing us Teyana Taylor as an intergalactic queen whose throne is challenged by a male threat. This is the reason why she calls on the captivating Doja Cat, who will try to restore order in all this with her dancers thanks to absolutely breathtaking choreographies. Note that the model Guetcha also makes an appearance in this video. As for the 26-year-old singer, which strongly appeals to Youngboy NBA she has also partnered with the organization Girls Who Code to create the DojaCode, an interactive experience set up especially for the clip of Woman and allowing fans to unlock exclusive content using a code…

  • Fetty Wap – First Day Out :

Fetty Wap was released on $500,000 bond in early November. He had been arrested on October 28, shortly before his appearance on the festival stage Rolling Loud in New York. He and 5 other men were indeed suspected of having participated in a vast drug trafficking, transporting, distributing and selling more than 100 kilos of dope, including cocaine, heroin and fentanyl in 2019. He therefore wanted to celebrate this newfound freedom by swinging the clip of First Day Outrealized by ASAPWITTHECANON2, in which we see him kicking facing the camera, in a house as well as in a housing estate, blunt in his mouth. In an interview with Fat Joe recently, the New Jersey Mc explained why his career went into serious decline after the worldwide success of Trap Queen, explaining in particular his lack of know-how in this music business and the lack of financial support from his former label: “The people around me had no experience. No one had experience, honestly. […] I felt like I had to do everything myself. For the tours, I put all the tune myself. I paid for all the tour buses. All the expenses came out of my pocket…” Words that prompted the boss of the RGF productions label, Nitt Da Gritt (real name Frank V. Robinson), to speak out to refute the statements of the 30-year-old rapper, and even insult him!

This Friday, December 3, soul/R&B singer Khalid unveiled his brand new project, Scenic Drive. A 9 track EP in which we find collaborations with Alicia Keys, 6LACK, Lucky Daye, JID, Ari Lennox or Majid Jordan to name a few. On this occasion, he swung, a few hours before the publication of the opus, the clip, with a cozy aesthetic, of the 1st single extracted from the latter: Here. Shot in Los Angeles by Scheme E, it features Khalid and a team of dancers in several sequences, including a scene worthy of a painting in which the 23-year-old artist sings in the middle of what seems to be a nature dead, where everyone is motionless, when suddenly the work comes alive, with all these beautiful people who launch into a choreography, in rhythm with the music with R&B impulses. Scenic Drive made following the project Free-Spiritunveiled in April 2019, more than 2 and a half years ago, which had 17 tracks and was both critically and commercially successful, reaching No. 1 on Billboard with 202,000 units sold in its first week. Despite the publication of a few singles, let me tell you that his return was therefore very, very much awaited by his fans on both sides of the Atlantic!

  • Stefflon Don feat. Midas the Jagaban – Toxic Love :

Stefflon Don teamed up with Nigerian-born British Afrobeat star Midas the Jagaban to erotically count us unhealthy love in Toxic Love. A clip, boxed by the late Luke Biggins, English director and producer who tragically died in October at the age of 41 (without the cause having been officially revealed), also accompanies the song, with very colorful sequences and a series of choreographies performed brilliantly. The 29-year-old singer also wanted to pay tribute to the director who has largely contributed to raising the UK rap scene: “This video is very special to me because it was the last my friend and director Luke shot for me before he passed away…Luke, you will be forever missed and your legacy will be eternal…Thank you for always being there. Rest in peace Luke Biggins…The Birmingham, England native and girlfriend of Burna Boy hasn’t delivered a project since her album Secure in 2018, on which we find 16 tracks. If nothing has yet been announced, this new single could however suggest the upcoming release of a new opus…

  • Cordae feat. Lil Wayne- Sinister :

While his new (and 2nd) album, From A Birds Eye View, should see the light of day soon, the 24-year-old rapper, Cordae Amari Dunston, ex-YBN Cordaeet now quite simply Cordae, guest Lil Wayne posed on the title Sinister, produced by The Hit-Boy. The clip, directed by Edgar Esteves (Russ, Lil Baby, G-Eazy, Chris Brown, Foushee, Tory Lanez or the last 2 French Montana clips), shows us the tennis star’s boyfriend Naomi Osaka evolving in a Black Panther atmosphere, wandering in offices upside down to swing a kind of egotrip announcing his future success in the rap game. We also see him and Lil Wayne preaching their good words at what looks like conferences. or lead debates in small committee meetings like the Black Panthers did to deliver their message, and expand their organization. A few days before unveiling this title, Corsae had released the first episode of the documentary on YouTube Road to From a Birds Eye Viewin which he discusses the process of creating his future album, returning in particular to his trips to New York, Egypt and Ghana, which strongly inspired him…
