The American Music Awards confirm the list of nominees for this 2022, with Bad Bunny in the lead
There is no doubt that bad bunny is taking the music scene by storm. After being 21 consecutive weeks in the Spanish Top 1, is now the most nominated singer in one of the most recognized music awards in America. With eight nominations, the Puerto Rican is the one with the most options to win. Nominated, for the first time, for best artist of the year, where singers of the stature of Adele, Beyonce, Drake, Harry Styles Y Taylor Swiftin a close vote. Followed by two female artists, who have six chart appearances: Beyonce and Taylor Swiftwhere the latter already won the award for the category, best artist, in 2011, snatching it from one of its current competitors, Adele. Beyonceon the other hand, is nominated again after three years without being so.
Among all these nominations, we find new appearances by female artists such as Rosalia either Anitta. These two will not be the only Spanish-speakers to appear, as they are followed by raw alexander, Carol GY Becky G. The latter is one of the favorites and clear winners of the award: Favorite Latin Female Artist, a category in which she has been victorious for two consecutive years. In this case, it will be measured Rosalia,Becky G and Kali Uchisanother of the new additions.

On the other hand, the group Måneskin returns after winning the award for Favorite Fashion Song last year. This year they are present in four categories: New Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Rock Artist, and Favorite Rock Song, with their single Begin.
Voting is now open, and will remain so until it closes.
November will be the month of awards. After the announcement of the MTV on November 13, a week later, on the 20th, the AMAS will be held in the usual Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
