In Luxembourg

• This Saturday, October 8 takes place the 21st Night of Museums, in seven cultural establishments in the capital. From 5 p.m. until 1 a.m., special and sometimes offbeat visits, workshops, musical performances and many other surprises are on the program at the Villa Vauban, the Casino, the Lëtzebuerg City Museum, the National History Museum and art, at the national museum of natural history, at the Dräi Eechelen museum and at Mudam. • Also in Luxembourg City, two events for the general public, and complementary, are taking place this weekend at LuxExpo. On the one hand, Klima Expo, the national exhibition dedicated to climate solutions; the other, Home Expo, the exhibition for housing, construction, renovation, furnishing and decoration. • Watch out, rock legends approaching in Esch-sur-Alzette! This Sunday evening, Deep Purple will be on stage at the Rockhal. The concert originally scheduled for October 10, 2020 will finally take place. Ian Gillan on the microphone, Ian Paice on drums, ideal for spending a perfect evening in the spirit of the 70’s. The Moselle festival is celebrating its 33rd edition this year, during which contemporary Algeria will be celebrated through nine feature films.


At Fameck, the 32nd Arab Film Festival started this Thursday, and continues until October 17. More 40 workscompeting in different categories, are broadcast during 110 screenings. Algerian director Mounia Meddour is the president of the feature film jury this year. Belgian filmmaker Luc Dardenne will be the festival’s guest of honor on Sunday 16 October. • Craft beers have become trendy again, and they are in the spotlight at Metz Beer Fest, international craft beer festival. Nearly thirty brewers from 13 different countries welcome the public at the Bliiida space. The entrance fee is 7 euros for one day and includes the official glass of the festival, in which the tastings take place. For these, a system of paying tokens (12 euros for ten) has been set up. • Pedagogical, playful and for all audiences, science fair began this Friday, October 7 in France, where it is held for ten days. The animations are numerous, for example in Metz where no less than 58 appointments are listed. In Belgian Luxembourg and Saarland

• If you want to pass out, meet on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Rachecourt, near Messancyfor a large craft fair where local products mingle, apple market and its derivatives, as well as didactic stands and street entertainment. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: under a heated marquee and in the street!

• Classic vehicle enthusiasts will certainly have stars in their eyes if they visit on Saturday or Sunday in Linslerhof, between Saarlouis and Völklingen and very close to the French border, where the Saarlandische ADAC Oldtimertage.
