The City Council of Córdoba and the Union of Processional Music Bands have designed a cycle of concerts that will take place during this last quarter of the year, within the collaboration agreement that began last year with great success in terms of public participation, according to The Consistory has informed in a statement.
Programming will start next October 23, as the eve of the festival of San Rafael. The bugle and drum band Crowning with Thorns will perform at 12.00 in the Plaza del Triunfo. For its part, the musical group Our Father Jesus of Redemption It can be heard at 12:30 pm in the Campo de San Antón gardens (Triunfo de San Rafael).
The bugle and drum band Our Lady of Health will perform at 1:45 p.m. in the Plaza de Capuchinos and, to close this commemoration of the festival of San Rafael, the band of bugles and drums Our Father Jesus Fallen and Our Lady of Fuensanta will play in the Plaza del Potro, at 6:00 p.m.
Coinciding with the festival of Santa Cecilia, the following concerts will be held. Saturday November 19that 5:00 p.m., the music band will perform Christ of Love at the door of the upper conservatory of music. At 6:00 p.m., you can enjoy the band of bugles and drums Our Lady of Health in the Company Square.
That same day, at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Juan Bernier, the band of bugles and drums will perform Our Father Jesus Fallen and Our Lady of Fuensanta. And finally, at 9:00 p.m., the band of bugles and drums Crowning with Thorns will play in the Plaza de Jerónimo Páez.
on sunday day November 20, at 12 noon, the musical group Our Father Jesus of Faith in his Holy Supper can be heard in the Plaza de las Cañas and at the same time, in La Compañía, the musical group will perform Holy Christ of Grace. This cycle will close on Saturday, November 26, with a performance by the group Our Father Jesus of Redemption in the Plaza de Cañero, at 8:45 p.m.
Likewise, the Union of Processional Music Bands of Córdoba will be present in various Christmas events. The band La Estrella will participate in the inauguration of the Christmas lighting; the Santísimo Cristo de Gracia group will accompany the royal wallet and three bands will participate in the Cavalcade of the Magi January 5: Holy Christ of Love, Our Father Jesus of Faith in his Holy Supper and The Star.
The Promotion delegate of the City Council of Córdoba, Marián Aguilar, considers that “the agreement with the Union of Bands has been consolidated and is helping the processional music bands of Córdoba to develop their important work both in the cultural field, of our traditions as well as the social.
