It is sometimes difficult to choose which festival to go to, as the offer is so wide in France during the summer. Here is a selection of eight nuggets, spread across France.
Inversion Fest’, until June 18 in Lyon (69)
A newcomer to the festival map, InVersion brings together the best of urban music, hip-hop and pop. Spectators will notably be able to discover on stage Stromae, PNL, OrelSan, Laylow, SCH, Black Eyed Peas, MIA and many other artists.
After a break imposed by the Covid, the Hellfest returns for an XXL edition with 7 days of festival over two weekends. Metal legends and underground nuggets will share the stages. A total of 350 performances are scheduled. Among the artists present: Deftones, Volbeat, Faith no More, Korn, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Nine Inch Nails, Scorpions or Guns N’Roses, Alice Cooper, Avatar… Bonus: Metallica will perform the closing concert!
Happy birthday to Garorock, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year under the Marmande sun. On the program: four days of music on six stages, a giant campsite and a carnival. Just that. As for artists, we will notably find Stromae, DJ Snake, Green Day, Vitalic, -M-, Martin Garrix, Ninho, OrelSan or even Cut Killer, The Hives and SCH.
