Singer Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, died Thursday at the age of 54, her family said in a statement sent to AFP.

“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” a rep said in a statement, asking to respect the family’s privacy.
