Billboard Music Awards 2022: Where to watch them and who are the nominees

MEXICO CITY, May 14 (EL UNIVERSAL).- After 2021 was a complicated year for the world and for music, the Billboard Music Awards had a hybrid delivery and it will be until this Sunday when the awards ceremony returns to normal .

The Billboard Awards will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States and will be broadcast completely live and in addition to celebrating the best of music, it is also a delivery that is distinguished by live musical performances. For this 2022, the delivery will be hosted by Sean Diddy Combs and a tribute will be made to the career of Mary J. Blige with the Billboard Icon Award, who will also perform live at the show.

In addition, the prizes will count in total will be 16 shows distributed throughout the night, from various musical genres. Of particular interest is the presentation of Silk Sonic, a duo that triumphed at the Grammys last month by taking four awards. Travis Scott, Becky G, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Megan Thee Stallion and Rauw Alejandro. They are joined by Elle King and Miranda Lambert, Maxwell, Morgan Wallen, Machine Gun Kelly, Dan + Shay, Burna Boy, Latto, Silk Sonic and Florence + Machine. British singer Ed Sheeran – nominated in nine categories – will also make an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards, albeit remotely.

This will be Travis Scott’s first public appearance since the Astroworld festival incident, in which things got out of control and unfortunately several people lost their lives.

It will be through TNT that music lovers will be able to enjoy this delivery that will take place next Sunday, May 15 and will be broadcast completely live for Latin America and the United States. In Mexico, the broadcast will start at 7:00 p.m.

Not only the singers will take the stage and the Billboard Music Awards have brought together an interesting group of musicians to present the awards, including Brazilian singer Anitta, producer DJ Khaled and supermodel Heidi Klum.
