This winter, a new music, electronic culture and innovation festival will land in downtown Trois-Rivières: the ArtikFest! Produced by the FestiVoix, the very first edition of this unique winter event will take place on February 17-18, 2023 at the Trois-Rivières port park. Concerts of DJ’s world-class Canadian electro, musical entertainment during the day and rides on the Ferris wheel will be offered free of charge during these two days of outdoor festivities! The event is free and accessible to all.
Artik’s vision
ArtikFest is a festive and inclusive event that will celebrate the local and national electronic music scene and highlight the different aspects of electronic culture at large through programming where technology and innovation will be in the spotlight. A winter rendezvous that aims to be a gathering place for all lovers of electronic music, but also an event designed to promote the emergence of artistic and cultural projects in Trois-Rivières, to promote the various artists, actors and initiatives of the region as well as bear witness to the innovative identity of the city of Trois-Rivières. The event wishes to go beyond the cultural framework by proposing as soon as possible, in collaboration with various actors from the cultural and entrepreneurial milieu, an extensive multidisciplinary program combining concerts, workshops, conferences and meetings focused on electronic culture and innovation!
100% free programming for all audiences
The site will open at 3 p.m. on Friday February 17 and at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 18, 2023 to welcome all families who wish to enjoy the Ferris wheel for free and musical entertainment. In the evening, an ambitious program with renowned electro artists will be offered at the Port Park in Trois-Rivières from 5 p.m. Shows will also be presented in a few downtown bars starting at 11 p.m.
The program of the first edition of ArtikFest will feature, during these two days of the festival, big names and sure values of electro such as Black Tiger Sex Machine, Shout, Michael Sparks, Valentino Khan, Sinca, Laure and more. Makes you want it, doesn’t it?
A FestiVoix production
Deploying through its flagship event for 30 years, but also through various projects that contribute to the influence and accessibility of musical and cultural diversity while promoting the richness of Trois-Rivières heritage, the FestiVoix has decided to set up this new event in order to broaden its cultural offer and contribute to the attractiveness of the city of Trois-Rivières throughout the year.
To make this event a reality, the FestiVoix has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars. The project was also made possible in part by the Government of Canada.
