The 2022 American Music Awards Nominees Revealed and they highlight Bad Bunny as the most mentioned in 8 categories, artists like Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Adele and of course, the new K-pop space for bands like BLACKPINK, BTS, Seventeen, TXT and more.
Unlike the Grammys and other awards that have juries, the fans are the ones who decide who wins through voting andn the ones that can participate multiple times a day, so in the end, the most dedicated fandoms are the ones that make their favorites take home the recognition.
As we mentioned, Bad Bunny has the most nominations this year in the categories of Artist of the Year, Favorite Tour, Favorite Music Video, Male Artist, Favorite Pop Record, Male Latin Artist, Latin Album and Latin Song.
On the other hand, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Drake follow with six mentions, with Adele, Harry Styles, Future and The Weeknd with five; Artists like Imagine Dragons, Maneskin, The Kid Laroi, Dua Lipa, Jack Harlow, Coldplay, Lizzo, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Silk Sonic also make the list.
The 2022 American Music Awards will take place on Friday, November 20 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California and voting is open starting today, except for the Favorite K-pop Artist category, which opens on November 1. ; general voting, except for the one dedicated to K-pop, will close on November 14 at midnight.
