Just one day before the announced date to kick off the tour in which Adele would present her album, ’30’, the British singer canceled her performances. She does so in a statement that she issues through her Instagram profile in which she, crying, explains the compelling reasons that have led her to make this decision.

After affirming that her team tried to do everything possible to activate the programming and saying that this is the reason why, hopefully, she waited until the last minute to tell about it, she confirmed with her words that she had to postpone the date of the tour.

In a one-and-a-half-minute video, she records herself on the phone to apologize to her fans and everyone who bought their tickets to attend her performances: “Hello, I’m sorry, but my Show not ready We have tried to do absolutely everything we could to continue the Show on time and to make it right for you, but delivery delays have devastated us.

These deliveries of equipment and rehearsals, says the singer, which have been delayed due to Covid-19, since the expansion of this latest wave has also reached part of her co-workers: “Half of my team contracted Covid-19 and it has been impossible to finish the show. And I can’t give you what I have now. I am devastated. I’m sorry”.

The singer has been promoting her latest songs for some time and, in one of her recent video clips, Adele dazzled with a Vivienne Westwood dress that amplified, even more, the desire to listen to her and see her outfits at concerts among her fans.

They will have to wait since the performances of Adele they would begin today and would have an extension of two months, until April. Tickets, which went on sale last December, sold out in record time, but will now be saved for when new dates are announced.

Despite the setbacks, the artist insisted on the effort that both she and the production put in to make everything go ahead, but in the end it was impossible: “I’m sorry to say it at the last minute. We have been awake for more than 30 hours trying to solve it and we ran out of time,” she said, apologizing again: “I’m so upset…and also so embarrassed. Again: I’m so sorry to all of you who traveled.”
